Chicago-based Second Chance 4 Life Foundation was established to address the issues and concerns of women and children who have escaped – or who are still in – traumatic experiences. With our expertise and services, we can help both become empowered to live their best lives. We want women and children to better themselves and give themselves a second chance...with our help!

The Second Chance 4 Life Foundation was born in 2021 from the hearts of God-fearing, compassionate women who have always carried a deep love for people. From our days as young girls, through our teenage years and into adulthood, women of all ages have found their way to us-sharing their most personal struggles, fears and dreams. We listened to stories of trauma, of challenges raising children, of households in crisis and of hearts longing for hope and a way forward.​

Through every conversation, one truth became clear: there is a desperate need for a safe place where women and children can find not only refuge, but also the tools to rebuild their lives. Trusting God's guidance, we stepped out in faith and founded The Second Chance 4 Life Foundation-a place where dignity is restored, hope is renewed and resilience is born from even the hardest seasons of life.​

Our drive is simple yet powerful: to empower women and children to rise above life's toughest challenges by assisting them with housing choices, stability and safety.

Our Mission
Our mission at Second Chance 4 Life Women’s Foundation is to create a safe and nurturing environment where women can heal, grow and thrive. We strive to empower and develop women minds, hearts and beliefs outside their trauma and life challenges.

Our vision is to equip women with the tools and skills necessary to overcome their past experiences and achieve their full potential, allowing them to create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
